I know it is late in the year but I am just starting to get a handle on things so would love to join in this challenge....

My target for the remainder of the year is £5000 paid off our total debt...

So in the format you have asked for in case I can join in in this late stage.

    £57.11/£5000

Welcome to the challenge mr2jay, it's never too late to join in :)

Good luck with the debtbusting :)

First posting for this and it seems so little but it's coming off slowly.....

    £24.88/£1100

Well done on the first payments - it's never too small an amount, it all counts :) I've paid pennies to my credit cards before, hopefully it annoys them :D and it all adds up in the end.

I think I might have been a bit overenthusiastic when I set my goal :rotfl:but hey ho I'm doing my best and you never know I might get a wee windfall. Snowball predicts another £4k by end of year but if I manage to squeeze £5k through then I will be under £10k. Exciting stuff :D

Just made a payment of £250.00 so running total £3090.96/£6000.
I have been offered a 0% deal on one of my existing cards so I have done a bit of juggling so I should make more headway on the debt now some of it isn't earning interest.
Oooh and over 50% of my target paid off :)
