Sure you don't mean Windows XP as that's the only OS where service pack 3 has been released0 -
Would be difficult as i didn't think service pack 2 even had a release date yet.

Oh yeahhhh... sorry - for some reason I got confused and thought I'd seen SP3 when I last booted into Windows 7... oops!0 -
Office 2007 has recently had a Service Pack 3 release, maybe you saw that.0

XP SP3 was released May 2008 (3.5 years ago), so I doubt that it's that.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Whatever SP the OP saw - I tend to wait a week or two and let the early adopters find any problems0

Sigh, now I feel old. I can remember installing NT4 SP3 and Win2K SP3. But still, not old enough to remember NT3.5 SP3
You feel old?? I remember upgrading msdos to version 6.22, upgrading my RAM from 512K to 640K, upgrading my HDD from 20MB to 30MB, and installing a maths co-processor, it was the gaming PC of its day !0 -
