June Honeymoon

Hi Everyone

Firstly, if I have posted in the wrong place I apologise and would be grateful if you could let me know which forum I should have used.

OK, to business ...... we are planning our honeymoon in June next year. We had thought that we had found our perfect destination - Cuba, but then we found out about the weather in June - rain, and lots of it!

What we want out of a honeymoon: adventure, luxurious relaxing, culture, good food & wine, exciting things to see. As fo weather - sun and not too much rain!

We don't want to go to (as either one of us have explore these areas and we want something unique to share together) Europe, America or Africa (please don't think bad of us, it would take too long to explain why not these places, we have enjoyed them before).

Also, please could you give us tips on where to go and who to go with. We have so far been to see Trailfinders who were helpful, but a little more expensive than we had hoped - about £4k for a Cuba package of 16 nights, inc flights, 1 wk all inc, and lots of organised tours.

We would be so very grateful for your help and suggestions, this is proving to be most stressful aspect of the wedding - the guest list is sorted!!

We went to Mauritius last June, the weather was perfect for us and it would be lovely for a honeymoon. I haven't checked the weather for June but I think our previous holiday destination Bali would also be lovely.

FWIW I have been to Cuba in June and we had, I think, 30 mins of rain in a fortnight. I believe any rain at that time of year does tend to fall mostly in short sharp bursts.

Queensland in Australia has great weather then. You could always go there and somewhere in the Far East on the way. Hawaii is perfect weather in June too and tons to do.
