Wow everyone seems to be going well.
Sweets I hope your big parcel arrives ok and you don't have to do a refund. Ebay can be such a pain at times and you think why do I bother and yet when you get a nice positive feedback it makes it worthwhile.
Has anyone seen Fairy. She hasn't posted for a while although I know she was busy sorting out her new venture.
I have 3 MSs this weekend so will but won't get paid until next year lol.
Just done a P*n* C*n* survey so should get £3 in a couple of days for that
    Have a great weekend everyone

    Hey Everyone,

Sounds like we've got some great starts on the challenge! :j I've got 21p interest to add, plus £1.60 student discount. I've got a few ebay bits to post later so will add more then. I've got a lot of things ready for ebay so will prob do that mon, doubt I'll have much to say over the weekend as I'm having a 'mulled wine and present wrapping' session tonight, then will be out again tomorrow night for my birthday... and will probably be too hungover to care about ebay on sunday! :o:p

Also just got £3 LVs from PineCone in the post, so adding that on too. Still not sure what I'm going to use these for, but might need to use them soon as the voucher drawer is almost full (don't get too excited, it's just a drawer in one of those mini decorative 'chest of drawers' that go on a shelf! Although there is quite a lot in there, I haven't got that many vouchers to fill an actual drawer!! :D) The big pile of LVs is getting pretty bulky though, and that's literally just the vouchers as I tear them out of the little booklet each time.

And although it doesn't technically add anything to the challenge, I've also just realised I've had 5 NSDs in a row :D And other than having to pick up bread, milk and a little bit of fruit and veg in Tesco midweek, so has my other half so money saved as we usually end up frittering a little bit away during the week. :j:j
Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £170
  • Thanks for all the 'Thanks' everyone! :)

OK, so not quite hit my target on my first day, but I did make £7 profit by selling a headband that I bought to re-sell.

I aim to post a big total tomorrow though, as it's my first ever jewellery stall (I make jewellery in my spare time) I have a total in mind, but will let you all know tomorrow whether I've hit it or not :)

Thanks for the kind words everyone, nice to know I'm not alone with my experience but I must admit it does put me off ebay... was same a few months ago I had a negative experience but still sold again after I'd had a few weeks to get over myself lol.

Lolly, enjoy the birthday celebrations  Have a good night and worry about Sunday when it comes ;) CP will be on her way now, everyone is celebrating birthdays this weekend! :)

No update, just came on to say hi x

    Hi everyone
I decided to join the site after reading the posts in here for the last week or so. We are really struggling at the minute financially and I have few debts which have built up so it's time to stop burying my head in the sand and bite the bullet.
Please can I be put in for £5 a day and I will see how I go. Yesterday I used 1000 nectar points to get £5 off my shopping and made £4.28 in ebay sales. I also joined maximiles 3 days ago after seeing it on here and have 1100 points so far:wave: Off to make myself a signature..looking forward to getting to know everyone.
    Next- £486.25 Barclaycard £600
    October make £10 a day - £183.90/155 :j

    Hi all

Again a quick post from me as again i have to go out (to get car from garage )

Moneys received so far are £20 from p/t work, £6 money owed (counting this as i never expect to get it back and i just get bits like this when i do get something :)) £4 dividend payment and £240.12 refund which i requested from energy provider as i was in credit (again!) This was meant to be for the boiler but as noted - my cars at the garage and now i'll need to use the money for this :(

So total so far is £270.12 / 600

I also worked ap/t shift but get the money for this at the end of the month so i've not counted this as yet.

Well done everyone so far am enjoying the thread and looking forward to signing up to this challenge again next year x
