My boyf got this really dodgy email this morning from "powerseller@ebay.co.uk" - thought I'd post it here so no-one else falls for it... please dont click on anything if you get the email as it is a spoof....

you will need to click on the thumbnail to open the image full size as i used an image hosting company (unless anyone can tell me how to get the full size image here and not just a thumbnail?) - dont worry it has no links in it any more

If you get this email , or any from ebay, never click on any links. Instead go into your account seperately and see if there is any information for you. With the power seller one if you go into the powerseller pages in the community centre if there is a genuine invite it will be there for you. Same with pay pal - there are always notes on your account.0

If you hover over the links in the email (not click) it will usually show where the link is going to... if it is a genuine ebay link it will go to something like www2.ebay.com/powerseller/index.htm (just made that up so dont bother going there! but the one in this email said it was going to ww.safing.****.ro/ebay/ .... etc etc (I haven't typed it all in incase someone trys it!)...
If in doubt always forward the email to spoof@ebay.co.uk
