well if you took him you'd have to take Peaches aswell!Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

Goodness me. I have been back to the cuddling picture about 5 times. Talk about speaking a thousand words! Grey person looks utterly blissful, Ginger person looks like she (?) is pretending not to love it, but does really. Reading too much into a kitten picture? I don't think so. Facebook didn't bring you all together, fate did x0

I doubt very much that he is a Nebelung though....I dont think there are even any breeders in this country. He could be any kind of cross breed but I am sure you just love him for himself.;)
after seeing his tail im sure he must be. after all a Nebelung is just a long haired russian blue, thats all they are in this country. the fur being different definitely points to being one. id kill for one and he is just gorgeous.
op are you sure you want to keep him?:DHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Yes, but just because a cat looks a little like a certain pedigree/breed does not make it one. Here is my own little Nebelung, Milo (actually a Birman cross )dirtysexymonkey wrote: »
If the OP's cat really were this rare breed then the original owner would have paid, ooh £500-600 plus importation fees and I doubt very much if they would have then subsequently sold the kitten for £20 on FB!
Anyway, personally I am not hung up on breed or Pedigree but love my cats for the unique individuals they all are (moggies! ) and I am sure OP is the same. Of course it is fun to see a resemblance to a specific breed but at the end of the day he is just purrfect as he is.
Now, I am off to scour FB to see if I can get one just like him....0

Peaches was a freebie off FB... someone found her wondering in the street. She has loved, mothered all the other little ones that I've had. Considering he's only been here 2 weeks its amazing how well they get on.
I don't think he's a Nebelung as he has amber not green eyes, I'll see if I can find out his parentage.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

Wow! Look at Milo, very handsome and regal. Grey cats do have a certain 'air' about them.
I rescued a beautiful silver tabby a few years ago (went in for a puppy, but saw his gorgeousness and that was it), we were his 3rd home, he had been shot with an air rifle and the tip of his tail was missing. It took him months to trust us and we had to learn to open kitchen drawers slowly and quietly, as it would really spook him, god knows what he had been through before. Very sadly, was taken from me before his time, *sigh*0
