GMail slower

Has anyone else found the gmail website slower since the upgrade to the new style?

Switching between Inbox/Bin & Opening messages seems slower to me. Sometimes it just doesn't open the message clicked on (and sometimes gives an error othertimes not)

No other sites slower than normal

Using FF8/Win7

Hello,

I have also noticed this. It may be because they have more graphics than the old style. If you have a theme on the Gmail site. Try putting it back to the plain white background. It may run faster then.

Why not just use a client eg Thunderbird

used to using it in my browser so don't see the point of using an extra program

Not noticed any slowdown for me on the new site (and i've just added the planets theme! with compact style it rocks! lol)
