Son gets a Scalextric Start Audi TT set for birthday.
20mins later, one Audi TT not working. Motor burnt out, the wheel had some white tack on it which jammed the wheel. Son did not notice. Hey presto, one smelling car & one very hot motor.
A quick check on eBay brings up lots of motors, though none appear to be for the car that we have. The motors will fit, but the connector we need on the end is the one that fits the G38 sliders/contact plate.
I can solder the new motor into place, but im not the best, Would prefer to buy as a package, plug and go.
Ive mailed a few eBay seller, with no replies. Apart from contacting scalextric themselves, im down to purchasing another car or some DIY attempt.
