  • Sign my petition fo better Government regulation of Property Management Companies and Freeholders who ignore their responsibilities and leave properties in a state of ruin and disrepair, despite being paid thousands of pounds each year by the Leaseholders that have to live in these unacceptable conditions

  • One mid to upmarket property I owned in a development of around 80 others had a managing agent charging £250 plus VAT per property per annum. Once a director of the management company I and others simply told them to reduce it or face losing the contract. They cheekily said they would not raise it so we offered them £100 or nothing and they accepted.

    We also took back the insurance contracts as they were being paid backhanders we were certain and renegotiated all supply contracts. Overall we reduced the overage service charge bill by 40%.

    If you don't know what you are doing they will orb you blind and swear that they are charging no more than any other competent robber.
