Free New Renault Megane??

Hi i bought a new Megane on 31st October paid a deposit etc, and got the car shortly after. Ive so far had to sign the agreement papers 3 times as my signature doesnt match my passport/driving licence, again today ive had a call from the dealership saying the finance company has rejected the signature. I'm thinking what if i dont sign it? this should of been done before i picked up the car, wonder where i stand??

You'll get tugged by the fuzz potentially. I wouldn't bother trying it mate, as I'd be pretty sure they're prepared for this kind of thing but check your copy of the legal agreement and see who currently owns the car until its paid.

The fact that you've signed it three times and differently would only look dodgy to the fuzz I reckon so they'd have more than reasonable grounds to take you in and then start poking through other finances and your financial past etc.

my financial past is sound. but yeah think legally they still own it, just crazy they've let the car go without securing the finance
