Euro Car Parks PCN!

Hey everyone!
A few weeks ago a received a parking ticket for £50 for out staying the specified parking time.
However, there are a number of errors on the parking ticket.
1) The specified registration number of my vehicle is incorrect by one digit on the parking ticket. I thought from this i could leave it and they would have no way of contacting me.
But today I received their first letter (PCN enforcement) with my correct number plate on there, forcing me to pay £70.
2) The parking ticket was issued at 11:58 - 11:58 (yes, this is the mistake on the ticket, how could i possibly be issued a ticket for 1 minute! ). I also have a receipt stating the time i was in there buying something at 11:58. However, the actual letter Euro car parks have sent me specifies the time the ticket was issued at 11:51 even though the ticket says 11:58 !
Regarding the error in the registration number on my parking ticket, Does this mean it automatically makes the ticket invalid?
So sorry for the long and winded explanation! I've read that its best to ignore them, but i was wondering with the errors and the receipt, if its worth replying to them to shut them up. If so, has anyone got any fancy templates? ones that suggest i have a legal right to not pay because of errors on the ticket? (I'm not familiar with laws at all, im just a psychology student!)
Thanks so much for your help
I really appreciate it!
Rach

Hi Rach, welcome to MSE!
It's not a parking ticket - you are taking it too seriously.
If you are getting the letter-chain then they have got your details from the DVLA as per normal. So all you have to do is ignore the whole thing, as per normal.
Read the sticky threads, see what the latest ECP letter-chain is (when I got mine it was Control Account as the debt collector but I think they may have changed recently to Debt Recovery Plus or Roxburghe). Whoever it is, the letters are on the top thread, albeit listed maybe under another PPC.
And read 'welcome, please read before posting' and watch the Watchdog video.
There are no templates because when we say 'ignore' that's just what we mean. Been there, done that. Nothing else happens, ECP never do Court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Another user who joins up, Doesn't read the thousands of threads relating to such parking companies, Not to mention the sticky's at the top of the forum (Not being patronizing of course).
Anyways, Welcome to MSE, Ignore my outburst if you must !
As for the Private Parking Invoice you have received, The only advice to follow is to simply ignore any correspondence from them, Why waste your time on such idiots ?
As for any letters, File them under B for Bin, Simple really, they'll leave you alone after a few months.' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '

Thanks guys for your advice!

I actually did read the sticky's at the top, but my scenario is different. Just wanted to make sure, if I was going to 'appeal', under what rights would I have. I've often read incorrect details on parking notices renders the fine as invalid. Anyway
Saves me 'appealing', I'll just continue to ignore them, and I'll have to explain to my father who thinks the best option is to appeal! haha

Your scenario is not different - you would be amazed how many people say that!
Any fake PCN issued by any PPC for any reason is a scam, so ignore it. Please show Dad the Watchdog clip and ask him what part of that tells him this is a real PCN that needs to be appealed?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You only need to worry about PCNs from a council. Any from PPCs (Private Parking Companies) can be ignored. I used to work for one of the large ones and I've seen all of their pathetic bluff letters to try and con people into paying.. they even threaten to ban you from all of their car parks in one of them - even though many are P&D with no barriers/ANPR and they have no database of banned vehicles that I ever saw either.0

Euro give up after a few letters, just ignore them
And also ignore the shop which employed them to "manage" their car-park0
