I've been trying to figure out how to bring my debt free date forward, and I figured out that if I get really medieval on my grad loan, and up my monthly repayments from £600 to £900 then I can be debt free in December.

This is total fantasy though, as that would leave me with about £200 a month for everything else, and I'd have no 'savings' to dip into as an emergency (read: holiday) fund.

BUT without being a total debby-downer, I'm going to up my payments to £900 a month for as long as I can hold out... but I wont feel bad if I don't do so every month!

Well I've spent a fortune today but it was all paying off credit cards so I don't count that!

Non-budgeted spend so far today is absolutely nothing. I may have to buy a pint of milk later and that's it. Today and the last 3 days (all NSDs) have made up for my £82 Tesco spend on Saturday...

  • Hello All,

I have just spent £209.99p on a Nintendo wii console and game but we are using £100 from our piggy bank savings and then I am paying half each with my bf so it is really costing me £55.

That should be it for today, I hope :D

  • Was heading for another no-spend day today but then remembered I'm running out of milk, and only have enough for my tea this evening - so will need some for my porridge tomorrow as I can't not have my porridge! Probabylspend about £1.15, then. My car's full of petrol, my freezer's full of food and I have my packed lunch here so there's no excuse for anything else!

Spent £3.74 on diet coke, listerine and paracetamol.

Glad I treated myself to diet coke, just balled my eyes out in the work kitchen and the thought of it has made me feel better. Having one of them days!
  • I have spent 60p on a can of coke. Also may need to get some milk after work and while I am at Mr T's I will get the months supply of washing powder and toilet rolls so all budgeted for except the coke.
