Awaiting a Refund

I bought and paid for an item three weeks ago from a local business seller, it was a folding pool table.

I paid with PP, as I wasn't sure when I'd be able to collect, emailed to explain all's fine. I just didn't want them to think I was non payer.

Anyhoo, a week later I went to collect, bt of an issue, it was damaged. They didn't have to tell me, they could've loaded the flat packed table into my car and let me think I'd damaged the pocket, but they were completely up front.

Anyhoo, they suggested a discount on the price, which I didn't want, or they would try to get a replacement table or part. I opted for the latter.

The following week I called, they had 2 on a pallet, but Trevor was off with flu, so they'd let me know Monday (last week). Anyhoo, I called on Wednesday, they had tried to fix the broken one, but the glue wouldn't set (What?). It seems that was th eonly option.

So I say, no worries, I've ordered one from Argos, I'll just have a refund. They say, okay, but not in the office till Monday then they'll do it.

Well, it's Monday, I've text, called (no answer) and emailed. No refund, so I'm wanting to open a case.

But I'm not sure what cirucumstances, it's not item not received, as it was pick up only, nor faulty item, as I have no tracking number for return.

What do you think?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

  • You paid by PayPal. If you don't have the item and the seller can't give online tracking showing delivery, then you will win a dispute. Your dispute is Item Not Received. INR.

As they are not forthcoming, log into Paypal and start a dispute. Ensure they don't redirect you to EBay.

Do not close it until you have a full refund.
