Hi the seal in one of our UVPC double glazed windows has gone. Is this something which I can replace myself and buy from any DIY store? Is it an easy job - thanks

You can get new double glazed units from your local glass merchants. They are not that expensive and they will make them up or send away for them. But you need to know what you are ordering and the size must be right to the mm. You have the consider the thickness of the glass as well as the insulation gap. If it's a door or low window it will be reinforced.
The window beading comes off and you can pop the unit out.

One of mine went before Christmas. I had a local window company replace it. My frames are wooden. It was £40 all in and my glass has leading on the outside as well. So not that expensive.0
