No it does not. I had bought some braising steak in the reduced and it scanned at the original price. I got the difference back when I went to the CSD.0 -
Hi everyone,
I have an update on my earlier post.I went back to Asdas this morning. They had to check my claims, so called for the relevant colleague, who went and checked. She came back with the SEL (shelf edge label's) which confirmed the gross overcharge. They refunded the £4.11 in full and gave me £2 for my trouble. My question is...have I been done over? should this £2 be per item overcharged or for the one off transaction? Not that I can do anything now but it will help me in the future. Just so that you all know the Schwartz was overcharged the week before, but I couldn't see the point of driving all the way back to claim 36p. Which is probably where they make their profits.0 -
I was over charged in asda today, as were the 2 people in front of me.
They didn't get a £2 gift card.
After he had finished refunding me - I asked for my £2 gift card - oh yes he said & gave it to me........
Why do Asda staff hate giving these out?0 -
at my asda they used to act like the were handing over thier own cash and lied a couple of times saying I couldn't get them on self scan or on RTC items. I emailed CS to complain and the staff seem to have been 'retrained'People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Today I bought a Bella Mozzarella ball marked as 44p on the shelf, but at self scan I was charged 60p. Went to CS and got 16p refund and a £2 card without any hassleWe have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

I have done this for a long time. Scanning receipt at end of shopping and going the customer service desk. Last time they said it I could only get a £2 "sorry card" per visit not per item. I thought it was per item. Didn't have time to argue, people behind me. I have collected about £20 worth so far this year of "sorry cards". So it is worth it but need to dig more to see if it is per item or per visit.
