personally i hope theres no need for a tribunal, i hope he comes back, admits his mistake, pays the month and we can all move on to a new start next year.

just thought id give everyone an update as to where we are with this. it took four attempts to get the 'right' wages from the manager - what he believes are the right wages anyways, so shes got a week notice at the moment.

both my partner and her old head chef wrote letters of complaint to HO about their old manager, and got no reply. acas are now dealing with the case, and are speaking to HO about the months notice.

yesterday my partners old head chef had a call from the police, his old manager has now decided that he was a thief and stole money from the hotel. the police said it was a complete waste of their time, as there was no evidence to support his case, and the head chef could pursue him for deformation of character. they (my partner and her head chef) have obviously pee'd him off so much hes now resorting to lying to the police!
