You can with a few certain super balance transfer credit cards, also known as money transfer cards - these are cards issued by MBNA or post office. Occasionally (but not regularly) barclaycard and maybe some others offer this type of transfer to existing customers. There is a balance transfer fee to do this.
The other way is with a tesco or M&S credit card where you buy sterling travellers cheques from tesco or M&S on their credit card and then pay them into your bank account (they are treated as purchases not cash advances so subject to the normal purchase rate of interest). There is a fee to do this and you need to check if you bank will charge you to pay in sterling travellers cheques.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
there is a way, but it will get me abuse on here
take out a wonga loan, for 3 weeks, for the maximum amount
2 hours after it has hit your bank account go to the repayment page, pay back the full amount using your visa credit card (just type into the payment box its a visa debit)
it works fine,
you get charged about 5 quid in fees. If you do it right (on the day your statement gets printed, you get 8 weeks interest free credit on the purchase of money (longer if you have a credit card with a zero per cent balance on purchases
But this is robbing peter to pay paul, so I would not do it (again)0 -

You should be able to. If you log into your online account and go to the balance transfer option this should either let you choose to transfer to another card, or a transfer to a bank account. It will also tell you the fees and interest rate (and if there are any promo deals, such as a 0% APR offer).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
