Vanquis - Don't EVER accept old customers

Options
Just thought I'd share the following with you.

If you close any of the cards offered by Vanquis down and then want to re-apply for one of their cards, you can't ... EVER?!

I know, many of you will say why would you want to go back anyway, but thought I'd share the information.

So, you can't even get one of their cards that they offer on the lower APR's.

What a load of old nonsense, you can re-apply, and some people will even be re-accepted. Op where did you get this bogus info from?

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Haha what a load off!
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)
  • You do know a new or old customer won't guarantee u a CC.
Looks like you failed the CreditCheck. Time to check it if moron companies like these won't give you anything lol.

It was the call centre that said it today, I asked because at the application stage for the Aquis card, when you put in your details a box pops up to say that you are or were a customer.

Called to check what would happen and that's what the lovely young girl said on the phone. She even went away to double check ....

...And came back not having been able to find an answer, so just made something up...

Not saying it definitely happened, but these call centers will say anything to get you off the phone.

I didn't reaply - the box popped up saying I was a customer or had been a customer (Closed it 12 months ago) So called them to check what would happen and that is what they advised above.
  • Erm, I did.

Me too, for 2 lots of cashback from topcashback!

    About a year between applications.

Cards never used and closed after 2 months.

Tempted to go for a third cashback try!!
