I'm setting up a new site this week, Ive used 123 reg quite some time ago with no problems but hosting, free site, free email etc was included in the price for the domain which it doesn't appear to be now, I'm quite happy to use them again but before I commit does anyone have any other recommendations?
I'm not techie so it would need to have an easy facility to set up your own site, I struggled with wordpress when I tried a few years ago but hopefully I've improved since then;).
Thanks for any help:)

Have a look at https://www.vidahost.com/web-hosting/overview
Hosting from £17 a year with free co.uk domain and one click installation for Wordpress and many other things.
Very friendly and helpful people who talk to you in a way you can understand.0 -

You can also check out www.hostsphere.co.uk which offers 2gb web space and 20gb bandwidth compared with Vidahosts 500mb & 2gb bandwidth.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

Personally would buy domain and hosting from separate companies, if you fall out with one life is easier to sort out than if you have all your eggs in one basket.
123-reg are fine for domain names.
For hosting you really need to define what you need before people can make suggestions. Are you going for the PHP based Wordpress? or the .Net based DNN? The hosting for one wouldn't work for the other.0 -
I use 123 reg and they are great - have our charity website with them0
