renting with bad credit, pls help....

I'm a private landlord and I absolutely credit check my tenants, a private LL would be nuts not to.
My current tenant also had really bad credit history, but he told me why his credit rating was poor, and that he was paying everything off. His credit information backed up his information entirely, and his guarantor passed the credit check with flying colours.
So, private landlords are the way to go.
By the way, the agent was talking absolute nonsense. If the LL is happy for only one person to be on the agreement, then there's no problem. But that person would need to be able to afford the rent on their own.0 -

So if we just go ahead adn rent the property in her Sole name and don't let them know that I will be moving in.... legally we are doing nothing wrong, they just wont like it should they find out?0 -

By Gillmans reply I would suggest trying to speak to the landlord. The one we are dealing with wouldnt0 -
