Hi everyone, new user so bear with me if i'm repeating already answered questions.
I live in a block of flats, next to my block of flats is a piece of private land with parking bays marked out which people have been using as (un-authorised) visitor parking. Recently private company parking restriction signs have been erected and several occupiers/ visitors have had tickets stuck to the windscreens.
Do we pay the charges or not??
Please note, on the signs there is no mention of time just 'no parking' and although this may seem strange, there is actually no parking charge or meter or any way whatsoever to pay anyone anyway even if you wanted to.
If this is a civil matter then they can only sue you for there loss which will be £0 if ther is no charge to park there anyway.
Is this right??

No you can ignore them, but read the signs and beware of clamping and find somewhere else to park.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Seconded, just ignore them.
If clamping signs go up, give it a very wide berth though.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
