To get the highest volume coming over the TV you would set both to high iyswim. If the box is set high then it affects the volume on the TV.
We have our sat box set quite high, then control it as normal through the TV, unless of course we are using the surround sound .......
Personally I would be happy if they could make up their minds at what volume to broadcast TV full stop - fed up with turning the volume up and down. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
There is no volume control on Sky+HD boxes. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

i use my FreeSat HDR box as the main course volume (only goes in jumps of 5 form 0 to 100) set at 50%
But use TV for fine tuning the sound (it goes in jumps of 1 form 0 to 100) but the remote is a pain not not that responsive!!! set at 40%Laters
