Currently im fixing a PC with the exact same issue,
What i did was re-boot into safemode with networking and that was so i can still get access to the internet, are you able to gain access to the internet still in safemode? if not, download all the programs you need on a different computer and put them on a memory stick
If you download RKill from the link above, you just need to double click it and a black box will come up, you dont need to do anything more, just let it do its thing and it will tell you when its finished.
Once done, go on the internet again and download SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition, im starting to like this more than Malwarebytes for safemode virus scans. Install it and update it then do a complete full scan and put it on boost mode.
Currently the PC i have here has found the trojan, and disable task manager stuffMy Support is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. I must just chip in about Anti-virus. Please don't assume it to be a magic bullet. Signature based AV is always playing catch up. I've seen trojans created with the popular Metasploit framework take six to nine months before they get detected by the average desktop. Don't be fooled by the big padlocks and promises of high security - all is not what it seems!
Far more important is to make sure that your operating system, browser and applications are fully up-to-date. If you plug the hole in the browser in the first place, your AV playing 'catch up' really becomes less of an issue.0 -

Or people using Linux..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Not true - like Mac, it's a false sense of security. Metasploit ships with a ton of backdoors and other nasties for Windows, Unix, Linux and Mac. Ironically Windows is most likely to detect these as nearly all boxes have some kind of AV running. Linux/Unix/Mac do not. Getting into Linux and trashing/backdooring it is just as easy, if not easier, that Windows systems.
Currently attacks aimed at the core of domestic gateway routers running Busybox (A Linux-esque executable) have increased and I've seen units with malware (and backdoors) dropped into them that spoof DNS and intercept web traffic.
Those that assume Linux to be 'more secure' are making a very dangerous assumption - it's not. It has some great security features, but the biggest weakness will always be layer 80
