This guy was good. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/ANDIEZDEALZ
Bit sparse on the comms side, but used parcelforce and was cheap. Bit late for you now though!- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0 -
Bargain_Hunter wrote:Hi Everyone. Thanks for the recommendations. I went with selective2007 and am now regreting it. Communication from them has been poor and the parcel was meant to be collected today but no sign of anyone. I have tried to call the customer service number listed on paypal 02082627097 but it just comes up as number not recognised. The email their original sent said if any problems to book a redelivery but can't wait in again for a full day until next Thursday. Do you think I could I get my money back since they haven't come today? Feel rebooking collection for next Thurs is unfair to my buyers. Thanks.
PM if you want a direct number to his mobile. If they haven't collected send him an email.I have him in IM and he is usually online 0730-0800 dealing with the today pickups.
Can you get it to the depot with Selective email print off?
Caution. In an effort to save cash. 4 of my parcels for 4 different customers
were sent to his depot. Then they sort and send them on.Problem is I can't
track them once they have left his depot. This is the 1-3 delivery. But it doesn't always happen.
Even doing an email enquiry on his web page comes back with no replies.
I ask him about it and he just says that someone will reply. They never do.
Problem is he was charging £3.99 around Christmas(now £5.25) and that was too cheap to resist. On the rare occassion that things may go wrong I chanced it.Touch wood not too many headaches yet.0 -
davery83 wrote:I can second that, used them several times with no problems. They often deliver quicker than the time you order too (I use 2-3 day services but usually gets delivered next day!).
I too have used them and are still using some of the £3.99 deals they had
(mine was 1-3 day)
Have you had them arrange the parcel to go to their depot?
Once there can you track it to it's destination?0 -

I used this one today, and they again used parcel force. I chose to order from them at 5 last night and it was collected today! Great IMO.0 -

Can you tell me if they charge for redeliveries if the customer is not in.Ta0 -
As far as I know it's standard parcelforce 24/48. So if they fail to deliver they leave a card and then leave it at the nearest post office.isayoldchap wrote:Can you tell me if they charge for redeliveries if the customer is not in.Ta- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0 -

Try and get a phone number of the people your delivery is for then most of the courier companies can ring them and sort it out. Get the parcel deliveryed to a work address if a weekday delivery is a problem, or ask them if there are any trustworthy neighbours the parcel can be left with. Most companies let you specify special instructions and it can save you money, and time and effort chasing around.Amazon Sellers Club Member Number 52

I agree ,these details can only assist in the success of the parcel getting there.I tend to find that even viewing the payment details on Ebay I see that some buyers can be reluctant to leave any phone details.I inturn don't feel comfortable in asking for it,if it's not there. But I may start to ask in future.
Position is I have asked Selective to find out if a particular package has arrived or not,as the buyer has yet to leave feedback and I also note that
there has been no activity on their account(166 feedback) for around7 days.
My guess they are away and my concern is that as they are not replying to my emails, then the return of the parcel may well be invietable.
I trust there will be no return fees from the courier and then of course a recharge for new delivery.Who then pays?0 -
Having sent many parcels both through work and for personal ebay sales through Business Post, I have yet to ncountr any form of poor service from them. Prices are also very keen:-
http://www.business-post.com/One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0
