Got an appointment at Jobcentre on Wednesday but are the jobcentre staff on strike? If so do appointments / sign on times get rearranged?
Thanks

Jobcentre staff will be on strike but it's best to attend even if the advisor is not there. Failing to attend COULD lead to a sanction.0

Some staff might be on strike, some might not. Turn up and see what they say; If you don't, you may well lose benefit. :cool:0

I just rang up the jobcentre about this and was told that payments were going to be advanced and there was no need to go sign on this wednesday but go the fortnight later as usualWeight Loss - 102lb0

Unless you are told otherwise attend as normal. You might be signing on with a manager. However the session will probably be shorter than usual.0
