NZ flights-cheapies please.

Have tried Travelsupermarket, as suggested here, but it reports all my dates as 'past', therefore invalid, when they are not. No response from the Contact Us, Report a Problem element of site yet. Seeking a month or so April/May.
All suggestions/special offer/internal flight freebies news gratefully received.
Many thanks.

Have just tried another site and keep getting the same glitsch, as pasted below:

-Sorry, cannot choose a return date that is before your departure date. Please also note that we can only take flight bookings 330 days in advance.
Why is this happening?

Have you made sure they both say 2007, some sites still have the default as 2006. What dates are you trying?

Yes Amys - always enter 2007 but feel it must be something in these sites. Have now tried 5 more with same message.
Air New Zealand is OK though.

24 April 2007>31 May(with their +/-3 days), or anything offering 4-6 weeks covering May. No matter what dates I use, most sites give me the irritating message, as above. Thanks for enquiring - any way round this one? Still neither acknowledgment nor answer from Travelsupermarket.

  • Strange about the Web-site.. Im going over at the beginning of March, Booked the beginning of January and being honest Air NZ was about the cheapest going.. In my short experience of Long Haul flights like these, they are all roughly the same price (give or take, depending on Airline)
  • Are you using Explorer or another browser? I sometimes find that calender functions mess up in Opera which we have at home.

  • Oh, also. I flew with Air NZ last year and they were fine. Had to go with them as only they did the routing we wanted but didn't seem to expensive. My advice would be to avoid going through LAX if poss, horrible experience!

Have now had reply from travelsupermarket with advice to re-set time/date, even if they are already fine. Did so and glitsch has disappeared. Maybe a useful tip for others. Especially be sure to remove GMT, then reinstate it. I am now experimenting with using the cheap Hong Kong flights and finding another cheapie return from there to NZ, but shall launch this as another enquiry.
Thankyou all - if I am to make this work, the Hong Kong booking closes tomorrow, so back to trawling.
