hello everyone
i need to buy two laptops for my kids for xmas. money is tight and i have been looking at refurbished ones. there seem to be several websites that sell them. i don't know much about computers and was wondering if anyone can tell me what spec i will need, they just want them for the internet and to do their homework on. also can anyone recomend a good site to buy one from.
many thanks

Most of the ones I have posted about have gone, however they add laptops every day.

Bigpockets have a good selection at the mo around £140-£150, just picked a HP for niece for £149, dual core, 2GB, DVDwriter, ex-corporate build quality and a brand new PSU
Have bought several from them over the last few years, never been let down by them.

I needed a laptop for reading emails and using word at uni and thought getting a refurbished laptop would be my cheapest option. Finally bought a refurbished laptop from "ElectroComputerWarehouse" and the product id is "dell_d620_laptop". it is working fine. May be this will help you.
