Viewing Facebook as desktop view on iPod safari

Yeah the rather cryptic thread title is is me asking another perhaps rather obvious question about the iPod 4th gen.
So I have FB as a dedicated app but if I'm comping I need to Open it in safari to enter the comps. At the moment it keeps opening in a simplified mode so I don't see a lot of the 'enter' tabs that are on the left?
How can I change the mode to desktop view rather than mobile or simplified?
