Under-£100 camera that is excellent for night shots?

Dear all, I would be grateful for your advice.
I own a Nikon S570, which is fine. However, I realize that it is rather bad for night shots. For example, in a birthday party, the Night option would give us an image that is too bright.
Based on your experience, is there any good camera which costs less than £100?
Thank you.

i doubt that you would get anything much better for less that £100
if you are using your camera on auto settings you may find you have better results by changing the camera's settings to party / indoors / night and if possible change the white balance to suit the lighting .0 -
Using a general point-shoot camera in low light is quite tricky. Most of the times the result is dissapointing. You can try increasing the ISO settings/sensitivity of the camera but that may bring noise (red/blue/green dots). So you have experiment.
Fujifilms have some cameras which give better result for low-light photos, I heard.0 -
Might be worth checking this camera out, under £100 & good reviews....
