Archos Tablet

A quick question for those of you more techie minded than me.
What are your thoughts on the Archos 70 tablet currently on offer at CPW for £100?

I've been looking at getting something for my sister, who would probably only use it for internet and it's size would make it really handy for her to carry around, if its a decent spec that is?

I have just got one and it is a good tablet for the money. But they are out of stock at the minute as i was hoping to buy another for my daughter.

Yep, they're generally considered to be a good choice, and that's a good price. Archos as a brand has a strong reputation.

I would love to be able to give a full review but, unfortunately, mine was snatched from my hands the moment I received it to be redelivered by Santa on Christmas Eve .

It's got a nice box though.

I ordered one Friday to receive an email Saturday saying out of stick. Phoned the freehone number today to be told 'that's strange as our system shows990 in stock'. 1 hour after phone call I got a text and email to say its been dispatched. :-)

Perfect for the sofa surfer and might mean I get my netbook back of my wife!
