Hi all,
Is there any easy way of finding all the council and social housing areas in a particular city?
I am looking for details in Leicester, particularly Enderby and Narborough.
How do I go about trying to find this information.
Thanks,
AMO

Even if that information was freely available (which I doubt) you are aware that Local Authorities often provide housing via private landlords for those tenants who they are legally obliged to house but are not willing to give a secure tenancy to. People like ex-prisoners, the seriously anti-social who have children and those who have a history of alcohol and drug abuse. Tenants like that could be almost anywhere.0

There are guides on the City Council Website. These include maps.

The 2 areas you mention are covered by Blaby District Council and they sold all their homes to an outfit called Three Oaks Homes a while back - so there's no council houses there just 'Housing Association' homes. I imagine the usual East Midlands suspects will be in the area in addition to Three Oaks Homes (East Midlands Housing) i.e. Leicester Housing Association (LHA-ASRA), East Midlands Housing, Riverside Housing, DeMontfort Housing (Waterloo Group), Orbit Housing, Derwent Living, Nottingham Community Housing Association and Midland Heart.
Hence there will be no major estates or areas - they'll be mostly small scale schemes / pepper potted on newish estates. Expect hilarious and firm local connection policies - 'local homes for local people'. Their vacancies will be listed on the https://www.leicestershire-homes.org.uk website0
