Need a twin room in sheffield (in city or outskirts) for 1 night - 3 march. Tried travelodge, no £15 or £26 rooms. Also tried ebookers, laterooms, novotel all of which no less than £100.
Any suggestions??

Courtyard Sheffield/Rotherham is nice (according to my Mum!) and available for £56 room-only for that night. If you want to splash out a little, for £64 you could have an Executive Level room (2 double beds) and breakfast for 2 thrown in, as well as use of the hotel's pool, gym and spa. Enter 'S4B' (it stands for Stay For Breakfast) into the box marked 'Corporate/promotional code' - the Executive room appears first on the list. This space has been intentionally left blank0

The Novotel in the city centre is much cheaper if you book it on the internet.0

2 Good pubs with lovely rooms on the outskirts of Sheffield are:
The Norfolk Arms Chapeltown - 0114 2402016 and
(My favorite) Rockingham Arms. Wentworth - 01226 742075 £60 per room per night includes breakfast

Try laterooms.com if yoru travelling in the very near future. Have used them many times for people staying overnight with work and it most cases its even cheaper than booking directly on the hotel's own website!0

The Etap hotel near SHeffield Arena is £32 per night per room and is handy for transport (tram, bus and car) into the city centre

premier travel inn.... either on the tram at meadowhall or in the centre on angel street (handy for shops in town or a 10 minute walk from general bars etc.)
should set you back 54-56 per room per night0 -
Finding "under £100" shouldn't be difficult... have a look here:

The Etap has been up for less than a year, so still fairly new. It looks like a Travel Inn type of place.0
