Just recorded a £500 OP via the spreadsheet. Don't think there'll be much OP next month, just saw the credit card bill, ouch :)

MFW no 4 reporting in. Things are pretty tight at the moment after a few expenses in January. However, Bank have written to me to let me know they are have credited £270 to my mortgage account so I am 'cheekily' classing this as an OP so that my SS matches!!

March OP £270 so far hopefully with a lot more to come next month after we switch our mortgage.
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

    Hi All,

Sorry for being away for a few days, just life has been hectic (and a huge hangover on Sunday!!!).

Thanks for bumping us up LavenderBees, much appreciated.

I've updated you on the spreadsheet elantan.

As there's nothing on the googledoc and your total on the spreadsheet matches your sig trills, I'm assuming you really did mean the spreadsheet!

Nice 'cheeky' payment CathT which is all updated for you.

    See you later,

Can you add another £150 to my name, no 54? Bringing my total payments to £450 of the £2000 target. I don't think I've ever been done so well at overpaying so much in the first three months of the year so very pleased with myself! Credit card is under 1k and due to be paid off once I get paid so I can start building up some actual savings again soon.

    Good evening,

Well done on your achievement for the first quarter SimbaK2K. Your latest OP is all updated for you.

No problem OM, I wasn't sure whether trills was an updater or not and as there was no post I naturally thought ... Silly me!

    Take care all,

  • Hello everyone,

I have just been added as number 145 and really excited to be starting this journey with you all!

Our mortgage is currently at £148,000 and with a new little lovely baby it had got me thinking about our future and how great it would be to not have the worry of such a large mortgage and I hadn't thought of a mortgage as anything other than something long that you had to endure. 30 years left on mortgage so looking forward to cutting this down.

Set target for overpayment of £2000, any tips or advice would be gratefully received:j
