Evening all, I've overpaid another £250 today, courtesy of a Brit gas refund (ha! It was a long & hard road but worth it) so I think my total is£5490 so I will update sig. Sorry realised I didn't put my number down on my last posting it's 048.

My mob contract is up in June so my new deal will hopefully be less by£4.47 a month so I can't wait to overpay that when it's sorted :)

    Xx

    Hi All,

Been busy again so apologies for the delay in updating. :o

I have though today gone through just about every loan and credit card company I've been with to check if any PPI was ever applied. Sadly only one has something but it's better than nothing. ;)

So, Lomcevak, an excellent OP as usual from you and our totals agree! :D

Two updates applied for you Barny1979 one yesterday and the other on the 16th, well done.

Your OP is updated everach, slow and steady is good, it all saves you money in the end. :)

Two updates for you Southernman, one yesterday and today's from the googledoc. I'm glad you got your lovely cameo. :D

A great OP rainbowcattail which is now updated for you, brilliant! Oh, and our totals agree too. ;)

From the googledoc, an excellent OP originator, all updated for you. :)

Also on the googledoc a new arrival. Please say welcome to toerag33 who is No.150! :T Please would you let me know what your expected/target total for the year is toerag? The way the sheet works I need to input a total you're aiming at until the end of Dec 2012. Welcome to the challenge and good luck with your OPs.

OK, that's it for now folks, see you later.

    Take care,
    Spigs

Lots of lovely overpayments going on, well done Everyone :T

And I have an unexpected bonus overpayment of £44 to report as my ISA transfer was completed today, and a further interest payment of this amount was added to my balance. Yay! :T

And I still have payday to come this month - can life get any better? :rotfl:

    Enjoy your weekends, Everyone

    LB xx

ETA - woke early this morning as kitten was determined to play with my toes (!). Very glad he did though, as I got up to let him out, and picked up my post...in an innocuous looking envelope was an advice that £206 in interest is being added to an account that matures shortly! Whey hey! So, please can a total additional overpayment of £250 (£44 +£206) be added..what a lovely start to the weekend! Back to bed with a cuppa to celebrate (I'd prefer Brad P, but he's busy with the kids...)

    LB xx

went into Natwest this morning and cashed in my 5, 10, 20 and 50ps. Amounted to £25.69. It's like random easy money that i don't deserve or notice!

My overpayment was £25! (69p pocket money lol)

I do feel like i'm getting nowhere though with overpayments, as though my balance is barely going down :(. Not sure if it's because i've just completed my first year of the mortgage and probably pay lots of interest at this early stage but still...

    Hi All,

That's great Southernman, all updated for you. It is more difficult in the early days of the mortgage but you will feel the benefit further down the line, honest! In terms of your target for 2012, you're bang on target and doing really well. It may be hard to see the benefit now but keep at it and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the end of the year.

    See you later,

No 31 here. Redeemed another £35 from survey sites, so made an overpayment. Total for May is now £164.
