Admiral Renewal

I've had my insurance renewal quote in this morning from Admiral.
It's nice how they have quoted for the insurance then added insurance premium tax as a separate charge underneath.
Got a online quote from their sister brand, Elephant for less and the insurance premium tax is included in the overall price.

Go one better, fill out a quote on Admiral's own site and it will be cheaper than the renewal - I have to do this each year with them - to$$ers.0

Admiral offered me a price match with Elephant but then stuck the insurance premium tax on top. In the end I just cancelled it and went direct with Elephant, I got fed up of the sneaky charges they were throwing in.0

I won't be standing for sneaky charges. The quote I got from Elephant is valid until January and I'm not paying any extra than what it is.0

You do know it's the same company right?0

Insurers have to show the actual amount of Insurance Premium Tax in documentation0

I've come a cropper with those companies when I've got a basic quote at a good price and then tried to see what adding various options will cost me. On several occasions when I have gone back to get a quote with no options and using the exactly the same details that I first entered, the price has gone up substantially.0 -

I have insured my car with Admiral the past 3 years. Each time the quotation was the same as previous year, and could not be beaten by any of the usual comparison sites.
The car is a Volvo 2.3 LPTMortgage free
