Given that most deliveries take place relatively soon after payment, if the two weeks-odd are that critical in being under or over 6 years, whatever you've bought is probably beyond help!
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

OP said 1 month over 6 years from delivery. To me that implies they were delivered 6 years and 1 month ago. So under both A) and B) they are outside the statute of limitations....unless they're in Scotland.

Although the finance deal would've probably (again i'm assuming, no way to know for sure unless the OP enlightens us) that the finance finished approx 4 years ago and hence the C) option.

My apologies will give further details.
Sofas advertised and bought as leather turns out they are not.
Purchased in July 05 using 24month finance that kicked in one month after delivery so started paying in November 05.

In that case I think it would be implied that you had accepted them, as you've used them for six years.

The SOGA period is over, as has been stated, but you could try contacting the retailer to see if they will offer you some kind of goodwill offer, although I wouldn't expect too much.

Partly leather or leather coating anywhere on it?

I was looking as some sofa's on ebay, Found some local sellers.

Some listed them as PVC, Others as faux leather, And other naughty ones advertised them
    as leather.
