Threatening Letters
I switched from British Gas to Atlantic Electric and Gas, on the recommendation of USwitch some months ago. I have been quite pleased with them until now. I have run into a cash flow problem (just for this month) and was unable to pay my gas and electricity bills in full. However, on 17 January, I paid £25 on each account. I have now received a VERY threatening letter which says unless I pay the full amount immediately they will cut off my electricity supply, refer my debt to a a licensed debt collection agency and obtain a court judgement against me. I am unable to pay anything more until I get paid on 15th February. Can anyone suggest what I should do.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks
Delisha

Phone them, and explain - quite often these letters are sent out automatically by the computer. (or so they say!).0

I just did exactly that and they have put the accounts on hold until I pay on the 15th. Tanks for the advice!0
