Have been trying to log in all day. This morning was just not connecting then by midday message comes up saying planned website maintenance going on and that they carefully chose the best time to do this to avoid disruption - a Saturday! But website would be up and running by afternoon. Now 9pm and still not available. A little bit worrying!!0

It was down all day Saturday 26th Nov 2011, and it is still down today. Someone, somewhere at IF has messed up. FIlls you with confidence about how well they are handling your money, doesn't it?0

I couldn't log in all day yesterday either, but I have logged in successfully today0

I've been trying all weekend from early Saturday until past midnight on Sunday, getting the same message:
We are currently updating our online banking and telephone systems.
When planning this activity, we try and select a time that is least disruptive to our customers.
Normal banking services will resume later today.
Shutting down for the whole weekend is supposed to be the 'least disruptive' time?
Normal banking services didn't resume on either day - and they didn't have the sense to change the message.
I tried telephoning the online banking call centre, but gave up after 15 mins waiting with no queue position or time to service estimates.
Time to vote with my feet and move my account, I think - if I can get to talk to them...0 -
I had problems all weekend and my husband suggested refreshing the pages and it worked! Refresh each one as you go through the homepage/log in sequence.0

Load the page and hit ctrl + F5 and it will pull a new copy of the page - might be odl files causing the page to fail to load properly...0

Yes, I finally discovered that caching of the web page was the problem. Using Chrome, even opening a new tab and going to the home page didn't work - I had to close the browser completely and start again.
Intelligent Finance could set up their login page access to require a new page fetch every time, but clearly they haven't. Never mind, it's sorted now.0 -
If you have made any payments into your Intelligent Finance account in the last week, please check the payment has been accepted.
I have a standing order which was bounced last week and this covers my direct debits etc.
I have now phoned the bank and was told that a system update was carried out to allow quicker payments and any payments in that period were not accepted. That's also why the website was down.
I was able to cover this using my debit card from the other account over the phone but Intelligent Finance have obviously made a huge error and are expecting customers to sort it out themselves.
Don't know who owns them now but it's all a bit worrying if these issues have not been taken into account.0 -
Trying to move money between accounts today via iPad....not possible. The site was being 'maintained' over the weekend - good job done NOT !!!
How many times have banks messed up this year ?0
