I dropped my Lumix DMC-FP1. Now on the screen it says 'System Error (Zoom)
Is it repairable or should I start looking for a new camera?

Possible the lens motor that zooms in/out could be damaged, if you still have warranty you should be able to get it repaired.0

How many warranties cover accidental damage? House contents insurance might cover it, but your excess will probably kill that one off.
From the spec it looks to have complex internals (a folded optical system to keep it thin), so repair could be expensive.
It's a camera that would only cost £70 to replace. I doubt that makes it worth trying to repair.0 -

I don't have a warranty and as 'fwor' suggests it could be costly to repair so I will have a look around for a new camera.

As to whether it's repairable - ask Panasonic UK
As to paying for repair or replacement - determine if you home insurance contents cover includes cover for accidental damage. You may find it covered, although there may be a policy excess0
