Wrapping a HUGE present

Hi everyone would appreciate your ideas for this."Father Christmas" is bringing a huge teddy bear for my D.D, by huge I measured it at almost 5ft! How can "he" wrap it? Cellophane wouldn't work as she would see it through and a duvet is priving too expensive.You wonderous and inspiring ideas would be greatly appreciated. Seasons wishings to you all :xmassmile

Bargain roll of wallpaper from a DIY shop end of batch sell-off??? Or, do you know anyone taking delivery of a fridge-freezer in the next few weeks that you could use their packing carton?0

pop along to pound shop and see if they have any large santa sacks, perhaps would fit in two ?0

I like the idea of a table cloth. Could you not get paper one from your pound store for example? With any luck - you may find one in red or something!0

Would any of your local toy or electrical shops be able to give you a big box to put him in?? I know my local toy shop has loads of boxes that tractors/jeeps etc had been delivered in. What about a christmas pudding bin bag - downside is you have to buy a roll of 12 for £5

what about a banquet roll they come about 5ft in length i always get these to cover the tables at christmas saves washing:rotfl:0

Primark have lovely festive large size fleecy throws for £3, would probably fit your bear, easily fits my sofa. Red with big white snowflakes on!!0

Should be easy enough the local Nissan Dealer managed to wrap a car and kindly deliver on Xmas day morning for the wife's pressie a couple of years back.0
