I assume you want to speed up the computer? Closed is the best and hopefully will give his take but for now:

If you're not paying for AVG? happy to change, I would uninstall it, http://www.avg.com/download-tools (removes all bits that may remain despite the uninstall) and use a different antivirus such as avira or avast.

I'd uninstall if not really required the yahoo toolbar, vuze toolbars, conduit engine, DiVX Plus Webplayer.

Huge difference in this.

Apologies didnt get my head around the forum - was under the impression to post only the logs without anything else.

Followed the steps each one and now have massive improvements in a laptop I was othersie going to scrap.

There is more you can do.......

1. turn off windows defender

2. Get another 1 or 0.5 GB of RAM - vista will never run well on less than 1.5GB, preferably 2GB. You NEED more

3. turn off the acer bloatware from running at startup - this can be done from CCleaner's Startup in the Tools section, or from Services.msc in Windows Control Panel > Administrative tools.

IE7 is a long way out of date. Worth updating to IE9 as it is rather more secure as well as better to use.
