mortgage ppi cliam help

ok i think all i need to now at this point is who i send the letter to .
the mortgage was first started with the woolwich 18 years ago we were told we had to have ppi or no mortgage,but now its moved to nationwide so can anybody tell me who i send it to thanks(we have just stopped the ppi after being informed it was optional):money:

    18 years ago that was quite possibly the case. It was normal for mortgages to have an insurance requirement back then. It was allowed and actually is still allowed today. Although you dont see it as much as you used to.

    if it was a broker/adviser then dont bother. Its pre regulation. Even if it wasnt pre-regulation I wouldnt bother as you have no evidence to support your complaint and it would just look like an opportunistic try-it-on. So, unless you have a provable reason or a technical failing or if it was Halifax, then there is little point complaining.
