hi
i am contemplating starting a part time business with a view to going full time if successful.
i am looking at starting a business as a virtual assistant primarily aimed at smaller businesses and also a CV service and typing too.
what i would like to know is how to go about this and also would this be a service people would be interested in?

Not sure if you have this in your area but anyone starting a business should go to a business gateway start up seminar, they are free and the advice comes from experienced business people. They can help with allaspects of starting up including financing and grants. website is https://www.bgateway.com it is fnded by the DTI, I think. It may be a Scottish thing but there is sure to be a similar english set up, possibly Business Link
