How about giving us advice on how to remove ourselves from any part of MoneySupermarket.com
I hereby withdraw any permission Martin might have implied he gave MoneySupermarket.com to use any of my data. Further more, I do not wish ANY data about me, or any of my posts etc to be held on any computer system held by MoneySupermarket.com or any business it has any commercial interests in.0 -
This is my first post, and I have searched but couldn't find anything about this.
I have just been to Best Buy to see their closing down sale and it is actually really good! There are loads of Blu Rays and DVDs including TV boxsets, childrens and movies all at 50% off. There is 20% off PS3/X Box/Wii games and 25% off home appliances such as irons etc ... amongst other discount amounts off TVs/Macs etc
Def worth a look! :T0 -

This offer was posted first thing this morning. All DVDs were sold out as soon as the offer was posted0

I mustn't of done a very good search, hopefully this can be merged.
There were LOADS of DVDs in store though, in fact there was a good stock of everything. I went to the big Aintree store at 7pm.0 -

Most things are WAY overpriced to begin with.
Examples I looked at.
Dyson DC25 Animal Bagless Upright Vacuum £362.99 -25% closing discount= £272.24
Or buy it from Currys for £220
The Dyson DC25 Animal is £259.99 in Currys. It has £100 off the RRP of £359.99. The DC25 MF is £339.99 (as it isn't in the sale). It has been this price for the last three weeks roughly.Member #120 £2012 in 2012 - £297.74/£2012 14.79%

I remember posting in the praise vent section when it 1st happened, just when I saw this thread I was a bit worried that, with Christmas coming up, people would have the same kind of issues so mentioned the problems I had. I just stated the facts though, no malice or anything involved. TBH it's gone now so not much I can do about it but it's a bit annoying given that I didn't say anything wrong. Oh well.

I wouldn't be too worried, I've had many posts taken off without understanding why, it becomes much more irritating when you post a grab-it and its totally removed then someone else comes along a few hours later, posts that same offer and the thread really takes off!
Happens more times then I can count and I'd imagine to other people too.0 -

That's the DC24 Animal, which is the smaller lightweight version of the DC25. The DC24 Animal is £239.99 in-store or £219.99 online web-exclusive price, but they match it in-store anyways.
The DC25 Animal is £259.99. I work in Currys but employed by Dyson, therefore I am very aware of the daily prices of the Dyson range.Member #120 £2012 in 2012 - £297.74/£2012 14.79%
