Ah I fancied geting todays book in advance of getting my kindle for christmas, but it seems you can't buy and store unless you have a registered kindle already

You could first download the relevant free Kindle software for PC or android phone (other formats may be available) and register that. You could read the book on any future device you register too.

Definitely not a kids book. The Agatha Raisin series are really funny murder mystery books set in the Cotswolds. Agatha is a middle-aged single lady who runs a detective agency and gets herself into all kinds of trouble. I think this book (which is just out) is the 22nd in the series.

They're written by the same author who writes the Hamish McBeth books.
