They always seem to be saying that there is no choice but to put the prices up because etc etc...
Not only have they got domestic customers but just imagine all the supermarkets, shops, businesses etc they have as customers. They are raking in MILLIONS upon MILLIONS. I find it very hard to feel sorry for them. It is bloody freezing in our house. I can't put the heating on, or rather I daren't as we only have storage heaters. We can't afford to move as it's so expensive can't find a private landlord and estate agents charge a fortune for a few pieces of paper.
I understand the latest hike in profit, it makes sense that it would spike at some point. Hopefully it will level out, if it doesn't then we will know full well where all the cash has gone to!
Ahhh rant over. Still cold, have to wear a scarf in the house.:(

The gas prices have gone up these days but that is mostly due to the poor economy.0

Well if there is a poor economy then demand should be reduced which should have a knock on effect to cut gas prices. It looks like no matter what happens our bills will continue to rocket and the utility company apologists will always come out with excuses for it.
Demand did come down with the recession but it was only a small amount. Until oil has a major reversal nothing much is going to happen to the gas price.0 -
