Some people can't buy, I suppose ..... and that's sad - but it doesn't mean prices will fall to assist them.
Prices are on the up .... of that there is no dispute anymore.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
Some, a good many, don't deserve to buy. I'd love to see the STR filth over on HPC central locked out the market. Permanently. It will be a good expensive lesson for them for gambling their families future trying to make a quick buck out of other peoples misery. Some people can't buy, I suppose ..... and that's sad - but it doesn't mean prices will fall to assist them.

BTW, being retired does not equate to being a pensioner.

Absolutely, I originally retired in my early 40's (although since then I have started working again)Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

OK then.
So you admit house prices will be rising.

I wonder what will happen once the cost to build a new build are released to the people (tax payer) underwriting a made up number.
Im predicting lots of people in the construction industry who will be working on these new builds will end up feeding the media all the gory details of a house that cost under 50k to build, being sold on for 200k.
These are London prices .
The two developments I was testing were about £1.5 Million ( Hammersmith) and £400-500 Thousand (Stratford)
Even accounting for Land values I and others I spoke with failed to see any real value in buying at that price.0 -
Hamish makes a thread and his band of followers start their frothing. Same thing happened last week when he told us all how the government would guarantee FTB mortgages. The frothing was unbelievable but look how that turned out. Talk about jumping the gun0
