Does anyone know of a good alternative to C&P? I'm about to run out & can't afford any more.
My apologises if this has been covered elsewhere, I can't find anything.
Thanks

Boots No 7 Hot Polish Cleanser is just as good, still slightly expensive at £10 though. I'm using a Time Delay one at the moment but I can't find it online to tell you the price, think it is still roughly £10.0

Given its really cheap try doing the same routine with a muslin and aqueous cream. I did when I ran out of CP and actually it seemed to work really well.
Only a thought but worth a try X0 -
I have bought this to try, read about it on this forum...

For £3 it is well worth a try I reckon.0 -
I would definitely recommend the Superdrug version that Slinky has posted the link to.
I used Liz Earle C&P for years, and then because of the cost have tried various alternatives including Boots no7, Sanctuary and Soap & Glory versions of Cleanse & Polish.
Then I tried the Superdrug one - it was my favourite of all of them and by far the cheapest0 -
i've tried the superdrug one too - for me, it's ok, but not 'great'. but i never tried C&P, so it may be identical to that (although some people are evangelical about it so i don't know if i'm just missing something!)! however, it is fantastic for the price. i've never seen their vitamin E range at full price either since it's on offer so often, which always helps!:happyhear0

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll go for the superdrug one I think. My cloths are looking a bit jaded but I've found a pack of 3 at the Body Shop for £4.99 so I'll give those a go as well.0

also - the superdrug one comes with a cloth, so that helps too! (and it's a nice cloth - couldn't honestly tell the difference between it and the Liz Earle ones i have!):happyhear0

The sanctuary hot cloth cleanser is good and the cleanser is quite a big tube. Get it on 3 for 2 or when you have a £5 voucher as it's just over £10.
You can buy muslin cloths for 50p and just use a different cleanser, though it does help if the cleanser is thick.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
I've been using up a big tub of aqueous cream with the muslins and I've been surprised how little difference there is between the various cleansers. I think it's more a question of the muslin & hot water method.
When I had the money I used Eve Lom which was the forerunner of all of these and it was fantastic.
Lots of the copycats seem to be very highly scented, it may be with 'natural' ingredients but they can still be an irritant.0 -
I've just bought Good Things Fresh Start creamy cleanser from Sainsbury's (£4.99 for 150ml). Mainly because it smells heavenly, I haven't tried it yet. It is free from SLS, parabens, animal ingredients and mineral oils.
I also tried A'kin Rose and Geranium creamy cleanser and toner in one which is a little runnier than LE but left my skin feeling lovely it's not cheap though. I thought this one smelled like turkish delight (it's rose and geranium, lol).
I just use muslin cloths from the baby section of the supermarket. They're huuuge and cheap.0
