Well, all I can say is what's happening around here ....
We cannot hire staff fast enough.
Pay is increasing by at least 10% a year in a desperate attempt to attract staff.
Mortgages, these are easy if you have 20%.
Houses around here are getting sold within hours of coming to the market.
These events will filter down to everyone posting negatives on here - as sure as night follows day - stay strong, it's looking rosey!
MrRee it's also confirmation of what I see.

MrRee, whilst it may be rosy for you, for many people in many areas it is not, and I believe that they are in the majority, and perhaps you are in the minority in your little bubble of the Home counties
Now I am surprised that you do not comprehend this being 'very successful and all knowing' and I can only suggest that you suffer from what is known in business speak as 'silo mentality'....Dont wait for your boat to come in 'Swim out and meet the bloody thing'

Good post ... we, being run by Americans, call it StovePipe mentallity, and you could be correct - I maybe living in a bubble.
I do not travel to the North much - mainly, the US and the EU.
Surely, however, reports from my bubble can add to discussions on here? As what heppens within the Home Counties filters out to all areas.

If houses are selling so fast, prices are going up and you have the money (as you claim), why aren't you buying?
I'm only guessing, but could it be because you are full of 5h1t?"The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

To he honest I am not interested either way on the price of houses.
I have 3 years left on my mortgage on my house worth circa £350k, my terrace house is paid for and rented out.
