Whats happening to my Pictures

Wasnt really bothered too much about this but I am sure you folks can point me in the right direction.
Last night looking at a few photos in a folder, when I opened say Pic 1.....Pic 3 appeared. And everytime I opened a pic a different one would appear. Didnt check any other folders so am not sure if it was specific to tat one

Any thoughts? Appreciate your help:beer:

Hi Startrekker

In the problem directory and using "detail view" try deleting the "thumbs.db" file in that directory. Change to "thumbnail view". has that worked ?

If you cannot see this file "thumbs.db", in Explorer .. Tools Menu >> Folder Options >> View Tab >> select "Show hidden files and folders" >> OK to close window
Delete thumbs.db . try again ?

Please do not forget to reset above to to "Do not show ....."

Alternative thought
In Explorer .. Tools >> Folder Options >> View Tab >> tick "Do not cache Thumbnails" >> OK to close window
try again
